
Get to Know Me

Anna Chandless was born and raised in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, where she first developed her love for the arts. She is now a professional actress, dancer, and choreographer based in New York.
Anna graduated from Temple University in 2023 and was a student in the Acting Concentration program. She received her minor in dance and has studied dance for about 14 years. Her study of dance types includes Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Modern, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, and Jazz. Throughout all her time at Temple University, she had stayed on the Dean's List and graduated top of her class with Summa Cum Laude Latin Honors.
Anna trained at Temple for 4 years in many acting techniques such as Uta Hagen and Chekhov, in addition to training in Shakespeare, dialects, voice work, stage combat, and film acting with Marcus Giamatti. During her time at Temple, she performed in several shows such as Ivanov, Top Girls, 8, and Window of Vulnerability. She was also chosen to perform in Temple's Undergraduate Showcase 4 times.
Anna has been a professional dance teacher for about 4 years at Downstage Center Dance Studio. She teaches Hip Hop and Jazz classes to students every week from ages 6 to adults. Anna has been choreographing since she was 8 years old in her kitchen and she had to make her parents be an audience. It is an art form she uses to express herself and she takes great pride in the performances she creates.
